Tabbed as the most ethnically diverse large city in the U.S. by USA Today, Long Beach has nearly a half-million residents, making it California’s seventh-largest city in terms of population. It is a new coastal destination with a waterfront marina and a walkable downtown with shopping, entertainment and more than 100 restaurants in an eight-block area. One of the main attractions is the Aquarium of the Pacific, which looks to “instill a sense of wonder, respect, and stewardship for the Pacific Ocean, its inhabitants, and ecosystems.” The Eastside neighborhood of Long Beach is associated with a number of rappers, including Snoop Dogg, Warren G and Nate Dogg.
